'Couture': Angelina Jolie breaks down talking about film, mom's Cancer journey

Angelina Jolie was back on the red carpet going about her film promotions, this time, for the upcoming film 'Couture'. For the TIFF Premiere, the star arrived in a fashionable coat-dress, but it was her pose that sent fans into a tizzy. Thirteen years after her viral Oscars moment, Jolie stepped up on the red carpet and recreated her “leg pose” that landed her in the hall of memes. The Oscar-winner stunned as she posed with one leg out of the dress' thigh-high slit. The internet was immediately reminded of her 2012 fashion moment that saw her posing with one leg out of her black Versace gown. Wearing her hair down, the star accessorised with minimal jewellery and topped her look off with black pointed-toe heels. Once inside, the playful and flirty side depicted on the red carpet disappeared as she spoke about her film and its significance in her personal life. Speaking at the event, Angie opened up about the film, her character and the plot that tells the story of an American filmmaker immersed in the Parisian fashion world, whose life takes an unexpected turn when she is diagnosed with cancer.In a video posted on the festival's handle, she said, "Every single one of us has times in our lives where we have to deal with, whether it's us or someone we love, dealing with health issues. And I think we too often see it as the end. And we stop living, and we forget who we are. And I loved that when she discovered she had cancer, she was trying to figure out how to still live. And she pushes herself through that. And I think that's what everyone needs to do, what we need to do for each other."Joli also got rather emotional while reflecting on her mother's and grandmother's cancer battles. “I’m 50 now. My mother and grandmother by this age were in chemo,” Jolie told reporters on the red carpet.Reminiscing about her dinner outing with her mom, she recalled her saying, "All everyone asks me about is cancer." The actress shared an anecdote with the audience, saying, "Ask them about anything else in their life as well. They are a whole person."In 2013, the star underwent a preventive double mastectomy after genetic testing revealed she stood at a high risk of developing breast cancer.
