Just weeks after Majors was sacked, a notable frontrunner has surfaced as a rumored contender to step into the role of Kang. Although there is no official confirmation from Marvel Studios, reports suggest that Golden Globe award winning star Colman Domingo is being considered as a potential replacement.

Previously Kang was set to play the lead in the upcoming film 'Avengers: The Kang Dynasty'. However, following Majors' legal troubles, including charges of assault and harassment, the actor was axed from his role.

Despite the unverified nature of the information, the rumor has garnered attention online, with fans rooting for Domingo as a suitabile actor for the role, much thanks to his popularity from 'The Walking Dead' series, where he portrayed the character of Victor Strand in the first spinoff series, 'Fear the Walking Dead'. Domingo recently concluded his run on the show, freeing up his schedule for potential new projects.
