The singer, whosuffered a kidney failure caused by hepatitis C, underwent a life-saving kidneytransplant. And the nine-time Grammy Award-winner is grateful because the neworgan has totally turned her life around.
"It's remarkable what a newkidney does to your life. I have no complaints. I���m pretty amazed. I havebeen working on my stamina,��� the quoted her as telling magazine.
"I justwent to the doctor today. He is thrilled. I���m just really, reallythankful. I���m thankful to the doctors, I���m thankful to the familythat donated the kidney," she added.
Natalie further insisted shecould not have made it through without the support of friends andfamily.
She said: "My sisters who live in Florida, they came out, myson, oodles of friends. I got sick in New York, I wasn���t at home. Ididn���t know how many good friends I had until this happened. It wasbeautiful. I had people come and see me everyday to see me in the hospital for10 days."
