Veteran actor
Christopher Plummer has said that he never intends to retire and would rather die "onstage".
The 87-year-old actor will next star in British-Indian director
Bharat Nalluri's
'The Man Who Invented Christmas'
, which tells the origin story of
Charles Dicken
's classic novella 'A Christmas Carol'.
According to a report, Plummer said, "I love my work. I love what I do. And I'm so sorry for a majority of people who do not like their jobs, and can't wait to retire, which of course, is death.
"I'll never retire. I hope to drop dead onstage. That's what I really want to do," he added.
