As Magic Mike’s Last Dance gears up for its release next month in February, the spotlight is on Channing Tatum, the handsome and talented actor who was named by People Magazine as the world's sexiest man alive in 2012. This will be his third Magic Mike franchise film, this time with Salma Hayek as his co-star.
He is currently also in the news for his production company, Free Association, acquiring the rights to the 1990 fantasy-romance film, Ghost.
So, does that mean he will be playing the role that Patrick Swayze played in the iconic film? Channing says that what will eventually be done is still not certain, but added, “We are going to do something different.”
He is also currently involved in another important acting project that his girlfriend Zoe Kravitz is currently directing, Pussy Island. In it, he plays a tech mogul and philanthropist who lures a waitress played by Naomi Ackie to his private island.
He reveals that Zoe got in touch with him a few years earlier for Pussy Island, but the film did not take shape then. She then worked on a new draft. “You are really saying something here,” he told Zoe.
