Carl Radke opens up on early-stage romance with Venita Aspen as Bravoverse buzz builds

Carl Radke dishes on his budding connection with Southern Charm’s Venita Aspen. ‘The Summer House’ star shared fresh details at a season 10 event, hinting at fun times ahead in the Bravoverse.

First sparks

Their story kicked off in mid-November 2025 with a first date that stretched nearly five hours. Radke confirmed they hit his non-alcoholic spot, Soft Bar, in Brooklyn, then grabbed Mexican food nearby. “We had a really nice time,” he told the crowd at 92NY in New York City on January 28, per People magazine.


They clicked again in December and crossed paths in London during a Bravo and Peacock gig tied to English Premier League soccer. Radke called Aspen “awesome” and “really sweet,” noting monthly catch-ups keep things light.

Crossover connections

The pair knew of each other through mutual friend Ciara Miller from Summer House. Aspen even visited the summer house before. Radke first gushed about her at BravoCon 2025, saying, “Venita is beautiful. She’s really cool.” Fans recall him adding that they got to know each other better that day.


Aspen spilled more on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen earlier this month. “We’re taking it day by day, out on dates and trying to understand each other better,” she shared. She shut down “situationship” talk, adding, “I’m trying to see if it can evolve into a relationship.”


Radke, 41, plays it cautious after calling off his engagement to Lindsay Hubbard in September 2023, weeks before their wedding. Aspen, 32, split from boyfriend Manny Houston in early 2025, as shown on Southern Charm season 10.


He joked about the distance, she in Charleston and he in New York City. “I’ve got a lot on my plate. She lives in Charleston, and I’m in New York City, so we all know how that can unfold,” Radke said, nodding to past Bravo splits like Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo.


On her Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast in December, Aspen raved the date “lasted for almost five hours” and they “shut the place down.”
