Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and more: Hollywood stars who adore Bollywood actors, trends and movies

There is something deeply satisfying about watching a Hollywood star get the full Bollywood treatment. Interestingly, it turns out, Hollywood has been watching us far more closely than we thought. The biggest stars in the world have been quietly falling for the songs, the colour, the drama, and the sheer joy of Indian cinema. Some danced. Some confessed. One took a dance class from Shah Rukh Khan and still wants more. From dance lessons to shout-outs to straight-up declarations of love, here are the moments that proved Bollywood has no borders.

Robert Pattinson: The vampire who loves 'DDLJ' (write full name)

Best known for 'Twilight' and 'The Batman', Robert Pattinson is not exactly who you picture tearing up at a Bollywood romance. And yet, according to a report by Gulf News and DNA India, once, when asked about his favourite films, he said, "I also really liked the Bollywood movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. I love the sweet romance portrayed in the movie." A Hollywood A-lister, voluntarily watching Raj chase Simran across Europe. Honestly, his taste just went up ten points.

Brad Pitt and his love for Bollywood songs

The man behind 'Fight Club', 'Troy', and 'Ocean's Eleven', Brad Pitt, didn't just say nice things about Bollywood; he went all in. In an IANS email interview, he said, "I would love to work in a Bollywood film as there is so much drama and colour in the films there. You never know when I might decide to do one of those dance numbers."

Nick Jonas: India's national 'jiju'

After marrying Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas didn't just get a wife; he got an entire culture. On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in 2022, the Grammy-nominated singer demonstrated his signature Bollywood move live on television and said, "My wife is an Indian. We dance to a lot of Bollywood music. I find that it is easiest to do. I can just do this move all the time, no matter whether I am sitting or standing. And you can keep the drink in your hand, too." And it doesn't stop at talking, scroll through his Instagram and you will find this man grooving to Bollywood tracks like he was born for it. Full desi energy, zero hesitation, absolutely no notes.

Will Smith and Ranveer Singh's bond

From saving the world in 'Men in Black' to winning an Oscar for 'King Richard, ' Will Smith came to India for his 50th birthday, got a full Bollywood masterclass from Ranveer Singh, and left completely changed. According to a report by The National, he said he had always wanted to be in a Bollywood dance sequence and that India's colours, music, and culture spoke directly to his personality. But the story didn't end there, according to The Quint, when Ranveer's 'Gully Boy' released in 2019, Will posted a video shout-out saying, "Yo Ranveer! Congrats man. I am loving what you are doing. I have seen hip hop all over the world."

Tom Cruise cannot stop loving Bollywood

The man who has been running across eight 'Mission: Impossible' films without a stunt double, Tom Cruise, has visited India multiple times, and every single time, he has made it clear that this is not just a promotional stop; it is personal. In 2025, according to IANS, during his visit for 'The Final Reckoning', he said, "I love Bollywood films. The skill that it takes you to do what you all do is so natural. I love that you're in this drama or comedy, and suddenly it breaks out into a song. Your culture is something I would like to be a part of." He then looked into the camera and told his Indian fans, "Main aap sabse bohot pyaar karta hoon." The crowd, predictably, lost its mind completely.
