has passes away at the age of 79. The actor passed away in a nursing home in Munich on November 6, her son said.

Dor also appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's missile crisis thriller

'Topaz'

. She featured opposite Christopher Lee in

'The Invisible Dr Mabuse'

(1962) in the film, directed by her then-husband Harald Reinl. The real-life couple collaborated on more than a dozen movies in their career.

In her later years, Dor had veered towards German theatre and did minimal films. Dor's last performance was the 2015 German film

'Die abhandene Welt'

(The Misplaced World).
