Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War part 3 - Release date CONFIRMED

The third part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be released sometime in October 2024, although no specific release date has been shared. The official X account announced that the series will be broadcasting on TV Tokyo and other channels, along with a minute-long teaser trailer for the upcoming episodes.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is an anime adaptation of the manga's final arc. It first premiered on TV Tokyo in October 2022, and will be split into 4 parts or cours, as they're traditionally called in anime lingo, consisting of 13 episodes each. Part 2 aired from July to September in 2023.

Part 2 of the story ended with a fight between Yhwach and Ichibe. The teaser for Part 3 picked up where the battle left off in the previous part, as well as showcasing the opening and ending themes of the series. According to Hypebeast, the song for the opening theme will be "Kotoba ni Sezu Tomo – Even if You Don’t Say It" by Six Lounge, and the song for the ending theme will be “Monochrome" by Suisoh.

The upcoming Part 3 will be directed by Tomohisa Taguchi. The voice cast includes Masakazu Morita as Ichigo Kurosaki, Noriaki Sugiyama as Uryu Ishida, Fumiko Oriskasa as Rukia Kuchiki, Takayuki Sugo as Yhwach, and Yuki Matsuoka as Orihime Inoue.

Bleach is an anime series based on the manga of the same name by Tite Kubo, otherwise known as Noriaki Kubo. The story centers on Ichigo Kurosaki, a man who gained the powers of a Soul Reaper, a being similar to the Grim Reaper. With his powers come the duty to protect humans from evil spirits and help guide dead souls to the afterlife.
