The three actresses, who formed a close bond with Lively during the filming of the 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' franchise, issued a joint statement on Instagram, voicing their unwavering support for Lively who has made allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation against Baldoni.

"As Blake’s friends and sisters for over 20 years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation," the actresses wrote.

They further expressed their disappointment over the alleged treatment Lively faced during the production of 'It Ends With Us'. “Throughout the filming, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set, and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice."

The co-stars also criticized what they described as the “unabashed exploitation of domestic violence survivors' stories to silence a woman who asked for safety,” calling the alleged hypocrisy “astounding.”

Before concluding, they praised Lively’s bravery in taking legal action. “We are struck by the reality that even if a woman is as strong, celebrated, and resourced as our friend Blake, she can face forceful retaliation for daring to ask for a safe working environment,” they wrote.

Lively’s lawsuit alleges a campaign of harassment and defamation orchestrated by Baldoni following her objections to inappropriate behaviour on set. According to the legal complaint, Lively accused Baldoni of showing nude images and videos to her, discussing his alleged pornography addiction, making inappropriate sexual comments, and asking about her weight.

The actress further claimed Baldoni and his team engaged in a “social manipulation” campaign designed to damage her reputation and discredit her allegations.

In a statement to The New York Times, Lively said, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted."

Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, denied the allegations, calling them “false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious,” and characterized the lawsuit as an attempt to “fix her negative reputation.”
