Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds considering Europe move amid 'It Ends With Us' feud with Justin Baldoni and backlash
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are reportedly considering a temporary move to Europe amid legal pressure and public scrutiny stemming from Lively's dispute with Justin Baldoni. The couple, who live in New York with their four children, have been dealing with months of headlines over the ‘It Ends With Us’ case. The report claims they want space from Hollywood attention and a chance to reset away from the United States.
RadarOnline.com reported that Lively, 38, and Reynolds, 49, are looking at Europe as a possible base while the legal fight continues. The outlet claimed the couple has grown tired of the media storm around Lively’s case against her ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star Baldoni.
“Blake and Ryan are desperate for a fresh start away from all the stress and misery that’s totally taken over their lives,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “Even if they wind up doing it for a temporary period, they want to get away and clear their heads.”
The report comes after a judge dismissed 10 of the 13 claims Lively brought against Baldoni earlier this month. Lively has alleged that Baldoni sexually harassed her while they worked on the romantic drama. The court case has been ongoing since late 2024.
RadarOnline.com claimed the legal setbacks and public criticism have pushed Lively and Reynolds to consider spending more time overseas, especially in the U.K. Reynolds already has strong ties there as co-owner of Wrexham AFC.
Sources told the outlet that Lively’s image has taken a hit amid reports describing her as an alleged “Hollywood mean girl.” The report also claimed the controversy has affected her friendship with Taylor Swift.
Multiple reports have alleged that Swift, 36, was upset about being linked to the case after unsealed texts suggested she allegedly mocked Baldoni and was involved in a plan to take control of the movie. RadarOnline.com reported that the friendship has since cooled.
A source told the outlet, “Blake and Ryan own a home in Europe, which has become a perfect asylum from the endless noise.”
“They will almost certainly keep a base in the States, but at this point, it makes sense for them to relocate for a while, get away from all the sniping and work to rebuild their reputations,” the source added.
The outlet also quoted the insider as saying, “Things can’t get much worse than they are right now.”
For now, the couple has not publicly confirmed any plan to leave the United States.
