With the race to bag the prestigious
Oscars already begun, Disney to has started its campaign but it looks like fans aren't happy with it. With their highest-grossing film 'Avengers: Endgame' being pushed in several categories, fans are disappointed to see that
Robert Downey Jr
aka
Iron Man
isn't being considered for Oscars.
With Disney bagging big at the Academy Awards last year with their superhero flick 'Black Panther', they are surely aiming to surpass their own achievements with 'Avengers: Endgame' now.
'Avengers: Endgame' has been pushed in several categories like Best Picture, Best Director for Anthony and Joe Russo, Best cinematography for Trent Opaloch, Best adapted screenplay for Christopher Markus and Best original score for Alan Silvestri.
With Disney aiming to bag the Oscars in several other departments as well, fans were disappointed to see Robert Downey Jr aka Iron Man's name missing from the list. Earlier this year, Anthony and Joe Russo were also reported to be looking forward to Downey being considered for the Best Actor at Oscars.
This is just not the end as campaigns promoting one doesn't make a significant impact at the results, therefore, Downey fans can relax as he can make it to the Oscars on his own merit.
