Aurora shooting victims raises concerns over Todd Philips' 'Joker'

The film has also received criticism for glorifying violence.

And ahead of the release of the film, the family members of

Aurora

victim' raised their concerns over the release of the film. The massacre took place in the year 2012 during the screening of

'Batman: The Dark Knight Rises'

. And hence, the family of the victims signed a letter to the producers of the 'Joker'.

The killer injured more than 70 and killed 12 people in the attack on Aurora Cinemark theatre.

Century Aurora and XD, the remodelled venue where the shooting took place will not screen the film.

Meanwhile, the film has been slated to release on October 4 this year.
