Producer Jonah Hirsch and filmmaker Danny Abrahms have announced that they will be recreating the secret annex where Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazis in the form of a virtual reality film.
The new film, 'Anne', will recreate the setting from the 1940s giving the audience a feel of being with Frank and her family in the annex itself, according to a report in Indian Express that quoted Entertainment Weekly.

'To experience this film will be to immerse oneself into a place and time, to move about a room, amongst the people, and sense the moment in a way never possible before (virtual reality),' Abrahms, who will write and direct the film, was quoted as saying in the report.

Anne Frank is one of the most talked about Holocaust survivors. During her time in hiding, she wrote a diary which was later published as a book titled 'The Diary of a Young Girl'. The book gives vivid description about the life of her family as they hid from the Nazis during the German occupation of the Netherlands. Frank is believed to have died aged 15 in a concentration camp in 1945.
