— fans have been unable to contain their excitement. The film also stars Richard Madden as Ikaris apart from Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh and Don Lee. The big announcement was made at the hugely popular San Diego Comic Con 2019. The Eternals are immortal aliens that have been sent to Earth by the celestials in order to look after and protect humankind.
In a recent interview, when Jolie was asked how her six children reacted to the announcement, the actress said that they were all really happy to see her portray a strong character. Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt have six children — Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 11.
Jolie has already started training for her role — the actress plays a powerful character and in order to look as authentic as possible, she is training how to use a sword and even learn ballet. The film, which will be directed by Chloé Zhao, will go on floors next month and release in November next year.
