Reports suggest that Angelina Jolie has taken steps to assist those impacted by the devastating wildfires that erupted in Los Angeles on January 7, 2025. A source revealed that Jolie is “heartbroken” over the destruction caused by the fires, which have destroyed approximately 10,000 buildings and displaced over 80,000 people.
By Friday, January 10, the wildfires, including the Palisades and Eaton fires, had left parts of Pasadena and nearby areas in ruins, making them among the most destructive in U.S. history. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner confirmed that 11 fire-related deaths were under investigation.
Jolie has reportedly opened her home to friends forced to evacuate due to the wildfires. According to sources, she feels deeply saddened for those who have lost their homes or been otherwise affected by the disaster.
Other celebrities have also joined efforts to help those in need. Halle Berry announced on Instagram that she is collaborating with Sharon Stone to donate her wardrobe to people who have lost their belongings in the fires. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, despite facing potential evacuation themselves, have offered shelter to friends at their Montecito residence. Additionally, Jamie Lee Curtis and her husband, Christopher Guest, pledged $1 million to support wildfire victims.
The wildfires have affected not just ordinary residents but also well-known personalities. Celebrities like Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, Anna Faris, Ricki Lake, Cary Elwes, and Cameron Mathison are among those who had to leave their homes due to the crisis.
These efforts reflect a collective push by Hollywood figures to provide aid and support to the displaced, as the community grapples with the aftermath of one of the most catastrophic natural disasters in recent history.
