She’s been sworn in office only this January and already, US Congresswoman

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

is being hailed a hero, nay, a

superhero

. She will now star in her own

comic book

. She is said to have quoted a character from the Watchmen comic — Rorschach — before her swearing-in, attracting the attention of a bunch of cartoonists. And now, a publishing house has released a bio-comic on her — ‘Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Freshman Force (New Party, Who Dis?)’.

In it, she’s said to be battling heavy tasks as she takes to the skies, throws a few punches and shows her might against major institutions. She’s also said to have the ‘Invisibility Gauntlet’ that has six ‘social justice gems’. She’s not the first political name to find herself in a comic book. Ex-US presidents Richard Nixon and Barack Obama have been depicted in such action-packed superhero comics. Clearly, the creators mean more than funny business. The comic book’s description has the lines: “Comic creators converge to celebrate the election of the most diverse group of freshman congresspersons in history, and spare no-one in this satire that takes aim at Washington.” A portion of the book’s sales will benefit two charities.
About herAlexandria Ocasio-Cortez, an American politician, who’s also known by her initials, AOC, is known for her bluntness and is said to use social media masterfully.
