When Hollywood star
Adam Sandler got to know that his character in 'The Do-Over' shares its name with his real lookalike, he ended up inviting the guy to the premiere. Sandler's character's name in the movie is
Max Kessler
, which also happens to be a real person who shares a likeness with the actor.
Kessler posted a split image of himself and the actor on
Reddit
with the caption last month. The caption read: "The name of
Adam Sandler's character in his new movie,
The Do-Over
is Max Kessler. My name is Max Kessler. Oh yeah, and I look just like him."
Reviews can`t get Adam Sandler bothered Sandler, 49, saw the post and responded with an image of himself holding a sign that read, "But can you do this, Max?" The actor finally invited Kessler, 23, to the premiere of the film. "Ok! You can come party with the better Max Kessler at the Do-Over premiere on May 16! Rock 'n Roll!" Sandler's sign read.
The actor was all praise for Max as they walked together for the premiere. "It's a younger, sweeter, better version of me," Sandler told
Entertainment Tonight
at the premiere. "He's a good kid. He's funny as hell and I was happy to meet him.
