Actor Mordecai Lawner passed away at 86

ActorMordecai Lawner, known for playing Woody Allen's father in the 1977 movie 'Annie Hall', has passed away in New York. He was 86.
He suffered heart failure at Lenox Hill Hospital on November 27, reported Variety. Lawner appeared in films like 'Ghostbusters II' (1989) and 'Raw Deal' (1986).
He starred in a Broadway production of 'Death of a Salesman' in which he played the character of Stanley alongside George C Scott in 1995 and also appeared in one of the episodes of the American television series 'Law & Order'.
