5 Celebrity feuds on social media

That people argue online over petty issues isn’t new. But when someone famous does it, the world watches. Here are some of the more (in)famous examples
Olivia Wilde and Justin Bieber
No one really knows what led the non-controversial actress to lay into Bieber’s choice of clothing. She asked him to “put your @#% shirt on” after posting another message about him not having enough clothes.This placed her on the receiving end of a torrent of abuse from millions of Bieber’s ‘beliebers’.
Sinead O’Connor and Miley Cyrus
It all began when Miley cited Sinead’s 80s smash Nothing Compares 2 U as being the inspiration for her Wrecking Ball song. Although stylistically, the songs were as different as chalk and cheese. Things got nasty from there. Sinead posted an open letter essentially telling Miley to get her act together, in much stronger terms. Miley they fired back with a volley that poked fun at Sinead’s mental health. More statements were issued but as quickly as it appeared, the fight fizzled out.

Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis
The Expendables packed quite a punch, but Sly Stallone was less than happy when Bruce Willis dropped out of the project. Stallone launched a tirade online against Willis for this reason, pointing out that it was only money that Willis was after. “Greedy and lazy... A sure formula for career failure,” fumed Stallone.
Aimee Mann and Ice T
Few online feuds are as unlikely as this one. Ice T is a rap artiste and Aimee Mann is a folk singer. The latter however, had no problems about the former’s music, but had an issue with Ice T’s acting in Law & Order Special Victim’s Unit, saying something to the effect that he had no talent for acting. Not one to take things lightly, the rapper replied with words that are inappropriate to print.

Rob Kardashian and Rita Ora
Theirs was a short-lived relationship, but anyone reading on the internet got to know all the gory details when they split up. Kardashian let fly a barrage of messages that essentially said that Ora was a love cheat. The singer’s brief reply brought an end to the feud.
