20 years of 'The Sixth Sense': Director M. Night Shyamalan shares a thank you post

The Sixth Sense

' was released in August 1999. The film received a lot of love and appreciation from all the quarters. It was nominated for six Academy Awards which included Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress.

As the film clocked 20 years since the release date, the director of the film M. Night Shyamalan shared a thank you post on his Twitter. Sharing his happiness, he tweeted, "On my birthday 20 years ago today, my film #TheSixthSense was released. We went to the movie theaters & watched nervously. Every time someone bought a ticket to TSS my heart soared. Thank you to everyone who has bought a ticket to any of my films since then. ������������".
