Harry Styles sets an example by donating tour proceeds to charity

They might belong to the entertainment industry and personify glamour, but many celebs have shown us that they have a humanitarian side to them.

The latest celeb to reveal his heart of gold is Harry Styles. The 24-year-old singer-actor-songwriter, who recently concluded his first solo tour in

California

, has donated around $1.2 million was donated to 62 charities across the world, claims an international entertainment portal.

During his tour, which began in September 2017, Harry performed at 89 concerts. Apart from promoting a non-profit organisation that promotes voter registration, the singer also advocated water conservation by saving around 10,000 single-use water bottles by fans, 3,200 by the band and crew, and recycling more than 6,500.

Interestingly, Harry’s ex-girlfriend Kendall Jenner was among the spectators at his California concert. According to an English daily, the 21-year-old was seen singing all of his songs and even dancing to some of them.

Kendall and Harry were rumored to be in a relationship in 2014. In December 2015, they were spotted on holiday in Anguilla, but broke up later. They got back together in September 2016, but split again.
