‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’ box office collections day 8: Tom Cruise’s action thriller climbs to Rs 58.63 cr in India

Tom Cruise’s latest spy saga ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’ continues to hold steady at the Indian box office, collecting an impressive Rs 58.63 crore in just 8 days across all languages. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the action-packed thriller has been well-received in India, especially in metro cities.


According to Sacnilk, the film opened to a solid Rs 16.5 crore on its first Saturday and followed up with Rs 17 crore on Sunday. These strong weekend numbers reflected the franchise’s loyal fan base and Tom Cruise’s enduring appeal. The English and Hindi versions led the way, with Telugu and Tamil contributing modestly.

While weekday earnings saw the expected dip, the film remained consistent. Monday to Thursday collections hovered between Rs 4.65–₹5.75 crore, keeping the momentum going. Week 1 total stood at Rs 54.4 crore, with English contributing Rs 34 crore and Hindi Rs 17.3 crore.

On Day 7 (Friday), The Final Reckoning collected around Rs 4.23 crore, reflecting just a 9% dip, a good hold amid competition from newer releases.

Language-Wise Breakup (Week 1):
Language-wise, the film earned Rs 34 crore from its English version, Rs 17.3 crore from Hindi, Rs 1.85 crore from Telugu, and Rs 1.25 crore from Tamil.

ETimes praised the film for its intense action and nostalgic callbacks. The biplane fight sequence, underwater submarine infiltration, and the Entity-chase storyline received particular applause. Tom Cruise’s signature stunt work, combined with Fraser Taggart’s cinematography, elevated the visual spectacle.

As per our review, the film also reconnects with its roots, bringing back Rolf Saxon from the original Mission: Impossible and referencing iconic moments like the ceiling-drop scene and the knife-in-the-floor climax. The mix of thrilling set-pieces and touches of humor—especially scenes involving Benji (Simon Pegg), Grace (Hayley Atwell), and Paris (Pom Klementieff)—have connected well with fans.
