After a string of strong performances at Indian Box Office with titles like 'Dune 2', 'Kung Fu Panda 4', 'Godzilla X Kong: 'The New Empire' and 'The Fall Guy', 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' is keeping the flag high for Hollywood entertainers. The film has taken a fantastic start across the globe minting more than US $ 141.5 million of which US $ 68 million came just from the United States of America.

This big screen entertainer is a sequel to the 2017 hit film 'War of the Planet of the Apes' and events in this epic take place 300 years after the last film. In India, 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' clashed with Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Srikanth' and both films have recorded a similar trajectory at the box office.

Over its first weekend, the Hollywood franchise earned Rs 11.70 crore. During the weekdays the film maintained a steady run and earned Rs 1.85 crore on Monday, Rs 1.95 crore on Tuesday and Rs 1.79 crore on Wednesday, as per early estimates by Sacnilk. The total collection of 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' now stands at Rs 17.29 crore, beating the collection of Srikanth, which is Rs 16.45 crore

Directed by Wes Ball, 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' stars Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, William H Macy and Karin Konoval.
