'Captain Marvel' surprisingly held up well in its second weekend with collections of Rs 14.25 crore, reported BoxOfficeIndia.com. The film had seen big drops over the weekdays of the first week. The collections of the film are now over Rs 70 crore in ten days.
It started the second weekend with a collection of Rs 3 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 5.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 6 crore on Sunday, raising the second-weekend tally to Rs 14.25 crore. The total collection in 10 days is Rs 70.62 crore.
FYI, the first-week collection of the film stands at a total of Rs 56.37 crore.
The character Captain Marvel was first introduced in the post-credit scene of 'Avengers: Infinity War'. She will also feature in 'Avengers: Endgame', set for a release on April 26, helping the superheroes battle the mighty villain Thanos.
