A few days ago,
Suhel Seth became one of the accused in the #MeToo movement when filmmaker Natasha Rathore and author Ira Trivedi accused him of sexual misconduct. And, on Wednesday, model and former Bigg Boss inmate Diandra Soares, too, accused him of sexual harassment. On her Facebook page, she revealed details about how Seth had allegedly misbehaved with her at a fashion week party in Delhi several years ago.
In the posts, she said, “I was dancing on a couch and out of nowhere Suhel Seth shoved his f**king tongue down my mouth. I immediately bit his tongue with all my might and anger. Oh, I also grabbed his b*lls and squeezed them hard, refusing to let go,” she added. In her FB post, she also recalled how Seth reacted. She wrote, “...like a little child with feelings and all hurt and (he) said, ‘You bit me really hard’…still looking absolutely innocent and hurt at MY behaviour.”
Expressing her disappointment and shock over how women are discouraged to talk about their #MeToo stories, especially now, she further posted: “EVERY woman had at some point in some form gone through some form of sexual harassment. WHY DO SOME WANT TO NORMALISE THIS ?! statements such as ‘Oh this is normal’; ‘THIS happens all the time’; ‘Learn to deal with it’; ‘Stop playing victim’; ‘Men will be men’; ‘The guy must have just been joking or done it in jest’; ‘Let it go’; ‘No need to make a big deal’. Some or most of us are lucky we have NOT had to face the vile stuff or far worse.... rape. So many women post stuff on being strong , being warriors, being empowered ........ and THEN you suddenly see them openly diss women who are actually breaking their silence. Hoping & fighting for a change. Fighting for a safer environment.... Fighting for better laws to be put in place .... Fighting for basic rights.....Fighting for you & me & everyone of our future generations...Do you not wish this for your moms, sisters, wives, daughters... for ALL HUMANS.”
She also posted again on her FB asking, “Anybody managed to find the Suhel shit?”
BT reached out to Diandra, but she didn’t want to elaborate further, and said, “It has been 10 days or so since all this news broke and there were more stories about him, before mine. There is only silence from him. Find him first and then I will speak.”
