It is believed that Tamannaah Bhatia started her acting career with South films and later marked her Bollywood debut in 2013 with the Ajay Devgn starrer 'Himmatwala'. But actually, she made her acting debut with a Hindi film before stepping into the South industry.
Tamannaah played a lead role in the 2005 movie 'Chand Sa Roshan Chehra' which faced a huge disaster at the box office. While the actress went on to make a great career in the South, her co-star Samir Aftab moved to the Bhojpuri film industry.
Later, Samir appeared in several movies such as 'Sun Zarra', 'Shadow', 'Musaa: The Most Wanted', 'Krantiveer: The Revolution', and others. He has also produced a few movies like 'Vaadhdivsachya Haardik Shubhechcha' (Marathi), 'Ghulami' (Bhojpuri), 'Bhaybheet' (Marathi), and 'Ek Duje Ke Liye 2' (Marathi).
Samir Aftab recently produced a Bhojpuri film 'Dulhaniya London Se Layenge' along with Abhay Sinha, and Prashant Jammuwala. The movie stars Madhu Sharma and Khesari Lal Yadav. It is directed by Rajnish Mishra who also penned the story of the film.
