In 2002, he made his big-screen debut with the Bhojpuri film 'Kahiya Doli Laike Aiba' directed by Rajkumar R. Pandey. He working in many popular films such as 'Saat Saheliyan', 'Nirahua Hindustani', 'Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi', 'Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna', 'Mai Sehra Bandh Ke Aaunga', 'Border' and 'Nirahua Hindustani 3'.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sanjay will be seen in a family drama 'Bhojpuria Mein Dum Ba' alongside Vinay Anand and Manoj Tiger. The makers have not revealed the release date yet. Apart from this, he also has 'Aagaur Auhaag' lined-up.
