'Romeo Raja' to 'Pawan Putra': Best Bhojpuri movies released during lockdown

Undoubtedly, 2020 was the year that no one wanted as the whole world faced a crisis due to deadly coronavirus. Film industry wasn't even spared as the movie halls were the first places to be shut down. Here, we take you to the beginning of the year and bring you the list of some best Bhojpuri films of 2020.

'Romeo Raja' stars one of the hits on-screen pairs such as Dinesh Lal Yadav and Aamrapali Dubey in the lead. The movie is produced by Rajesh Kumar Verma. The story is penned by Manoj Narayan who is also a director of the film. The movie also features other actors such as Manoj Narayan, Prakash Jais, Sanjay Mahanand, J. Nilam, and Konika.

Dinesh Lal Yadav and Aamrapali Dubey starrer 'Muqaddar Ka Sikandar' is a political drama. The actor was seen performing some high octane action and delivering a strong patriotic message. Directed by Santosh Mishra, 'Mukaddar Ka Sikander' is produced by Wasim Khan. The music of the film is composed by Liyaqat Ajmeri while lyrics are penned by Pyarelal Yadav Kavi, Azad Singh and Sumit Chandravanshi.

'Ek Saazish Jaal' tells a story of a couple who fall in love but the latter is forced to abandon him due to unavoidable circumstances. The actor then comes across another girl but does not forget his first love. The movie stars Khesari Lal Yadav and Shubhi Sharma in the lead role. Directed by M. I. Raj, the movie is produced by Sanjay Agarwal and Babu Tyagi.

Bhojpuri singer-actor Pawan Singh impressed the audience with his action in the film 'Pawan Putra'. In the film, the actor was seen romancing two actresses - Priyanka Pandit and Priyanka Revadi. 'Pawan Putra' is directed by Firoz Khan and produced by Ratnakar Kumar. The movie also features other stars like Sarwar Mir, Ritu Pandey, Brijesh Tripathi, Umesh Singh, Amit Sukhla, Imroz Akhtar, Ayaz Khan, Rakesh Tripathi, Anoop Arora, Sanjay Verma, Amol Chougle, Nisha Jha and Jaya Pandey.

'Premi Autowala' features Pramod Premi, Priti Dhyani and Amrita Pandey in lead roles. In the film, the actor played the role of an auto driver. Amit Shukla looks perfect as the menacing villain while Priti plays the daughter of a domineering leader. 'Premi Autowala' is directed by Ajay Kumar Jha while jointly produced by Prem Chandra D Jha, Sapna Singh and Deepak Shroff. The music is composed by Ashish Verma. The story of the film is written by Indrajit Kumar.
