Sandalwood actress
Meghashri
is all set to step into the
Bhojpuri
film industry. She is currently shooting for a Bhojpuri film titled 'Right' in Hyderabad. The young actress will star alongside singer-actor
Khesari Lal Yadav in the film.
While speaking to a media organisation, Meghashri revealed about her character and said that she will play an orphan. As she grows up, the orphanage authority wants her to get married but the twist in the story comes in when she falls in love with a cop.
Comparing the Bhojpuri industry to Sandalwood, the actress further stated that she found Bhojpuri actors to be more expressive and someone who respects new actors.
Meghashri recently wrapped up the shoot of a Kannada music video titled '
Malenadu Singari
', which also features Vageesh. The video has been shot in the
Malnad
region during the monsoon. The song, directed by Shivanand and will be out soon.
The actress is best known for her work in movies like 'Beautiful Manasugalu', 'Anaganaga Oka Chitram' and 'Mugulu Nage'.
