Actors like Khesari Lal Yadav and Antara Biswas have many blockbuster hits to their credit. ‘Latkhor' was an action-romantic drama that showcased the romantic chemistry between Khesari Lal Yadav and Monalisa. It was directed by Ajay Srivastav and produced by Abhishek Kumar. Other Bhojpuri stars like Raj Premi, Anup Arora, Prem Dubey, Sudesh Kaul, Shikha Tiwari, Abhay Rai, Gaurishankar and Prerna played supporting roles in this one and the music for the film was composed by Rajesh-Rajnish.

The Bhojpuri film 'Khoon Bhari Hamaar Maang' showed the power of a woman when she decides to fight for her rights.
