One of the most popular faces in
Bhojpuri
cinema,
Vinay Anand is the son of songwriter
Ravi Anand
and Pushpa Ahuja. His
mother
was Bollywood actor
Govinda's sister. After appearing in several hit Bollywood films, Vinay stepped into Bhojpuri cinema and delivered blockbuster films. Today on the occasion of Mother's Day, the actor exclusively shared with ETimes a few emotional memories about his mother.
While speaking to ETimes, Vinay said, "Before giving birth to me, my mother lost a baby as he died soon after his birth. And, to heal her from that depression, the doctors would give her shock therapy which resulted in her becoming mentally imbalanced and acting like a small baby. So, I received the love of a mother from my grandmother. I took care of my mother like a baby instead of her pampering me during childhood. She was more like a child to me. There is no replacement for parents and the truth is the real God is our mother only."
Talking about what he learned from his mother, Vinay said, "The very good thing was that she never hesitated to talk to strangers. She used to ask everyone about their health even if the person was a stranger. I learned that we should be nice and talk to everybody around us because we all are human beings and we all are the same. I only feel sad that my mother couldn't see my children. I always see my mother in one of my children as sometimes they speak just the way my mother would do."
The actor also gave a special message to his fans and said, "Cherish the day if you have your mother with you and cherish each and every moment with your mother."
