Exclusive! Bhojpuri actress Madhu Sharma: My mother pushed me to be an actress

Madhu Sharma, who has worked in several languages, is now mainly active in the Bhojpuri film industry. She will be next seen in the film 'Dulha Hindustani Dulhan Englishtaani' along with Dinesh Lal Yadav and Aamrapali Dubey.
The actress, who started her acting career with a Tamil film, revealed that she wanted to be a doctor. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Madhu stated the reason why she chose acting, "I wanted to be a doctor but my mother urged me to be an actress.I don't know where she got the idea from but she pushed me to be an actress. So, I did a photoshoot and soon I got the first role in a Tamil film. Later, I appeared in several languages such as Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bhojpuri".
Sharing the incident of how she entered the Bhojpuri film industry, Madhu said, "The reason I stepped into the Bhojpuri industry was my dance master's wife Indumati who asked me to do a Bhojpuri film as her last wish. Before entering Bhojpuri cinema, I was worried because the name of the industry was very bad for its vulgar contents. I was already prepared that I will say "no" for such content. Then later, when I started working I realised that it is just a rumour and people have created a false image about the industry".
Apart from 'Dulha Hindustani Dulhan Englishtaani', Madhu will also be seen in the film 'Balamua' which also stars Khesari Lal Yadav and Kajal Raghwani. Madhu often makes headlines for her movies and stylish looks. She has been a part of several hit Bhojpuri movies like 'Dulhe Raja', 'Yodhha', 'Ghulami', 'Maa Tujhe Salaam' and 'Jai Hind'.
