‘Border’

'Border' is the latest Bhojpuri movie released on Eid, 2018. It has most loved an on-screen pair of Bhojpuri cinema Dinesh Lal Yadav and Amrapali Dubey in a lead role. The title of the film ‘Border’ gave a hint that the story of the film is based on the lives of the army men. Along with Nirahua and Amrapali, the film has a huge star cast of Pravesh Lal Yadav, Shubhi Sharma, Vikrant Singh Rajput, Sushil Singh, Awdhesh Mishra, Sanjay Pandey, Aditya Ojha, Gaurav Jha, Kajal Yadav and Richa Dixit.

‘India Vs Pakistan’

It is one of the Bhojpuri patriotic films starring Arvind Akela Kallu, Nidhi Jha, Nisha Dubey and Priyanka Pandit in a lead role. ‘India Vs Pakistan’ was directed by Feroz Khan and the music of the film was given by Madhukar Anand. The movie also includes other well known Bhojpuri stars such as Rakesh Mishra, Ritesh Pandey, and Yash Mishra. Recently, the romantic song ‘Filter Ke Pani’ starring Priyanka Pandit and Arvind Akela Kallu was doing the rounds on the internet.

‘Gadar’

‘Gadar’ is one of the hit Bhojpuri films of superstar Pawan Singh, directed by Ramakant Prasad. The movie is also known as Pawan Singh’s best action Bhojpuri film. Along with Pawan, other stars Nidhi Jha, Neha Singh and Sushil Singh also played a pivotal role in the film. The film was multi-produced by Bhupendra Vijay Singh, Bablu M. Gupta, and Ravi Singh Rajput. The lyrics have been penned by actors Pyare Lal Yadav, Vinod Byash and Pawan Pandey.

‘Aatankwadi’

‘Aatankwadi’ is an action-drama Bhojpuri movie starring actor-singer Khesari Lal Yadav in a lead role. Along with Khesari, popular Bhojpuri actors Awdhesh Mishra and Shubhi Sharma also played a prominent role in the movie. The film was directed by M. I. Raj, the story was penned by Manoj K. Kushwaha and the music has been composed by Madhukar Anand. Shubhi Sharma, who is mainly active in Bhojpuri cinema, has also done an item number with Bollywood star John Abraham in ‘Welcome Back’.
