Bhojpuri actress Antara Biswas is best known by her stage name Monalisa. She started her career as a model and has now made a name for herself in the Bhojpuri film industry as one of the top actresses.
Monalisa, who is married to actor Vikrant Singh Rajput, is also one of the highest paid actresses and is especially known for her amazing dance moves. The song ‘Diya Gul Kara’ is a romantic track that features Monalisa romancing Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh. The soothing track was sung by actor Pawan himself and featured Indu Sonali. The music was composed by Avinash Jha and it had lyrics penned by Manoj Matlabi. The song was in director Arvind Chaubey's Bhojpuri film ‘Pawan Raja’ starring Pawan Singh, Akshara Singh, Monalisa, Aamrapali Dubey, Shushil Singh, Ayaaj Khan and Dev Singh.
Aanchal Udal Sajan
Monalisa and Gaurav Jha's romantic song ‘Aanchal Udal Sajan’ was in the Bhojpuri film ‘Qahar’. It was sung by Kalpana and the leading man, actor Gaurav Jha. Penned by Rajesh Mishra, it had music composed by Chhote Baba. ‘Qahar’ also stars Aanchal Soni, Priya Sharma, Gunjan Pant, Kavya Singh and Manoj Tiger in pivotal roles. The movie was directed by Aanand D. Ghathraj and produced by Awdhesh Singh.
Kawan Jaadu Karelu Hamar Pe
The song ‘Kawan Jaadu Karelu Hamar Pe’ was another romantic hit that featured our favourite, Monalisa sharing screen-space with Viraj Bhatt in the action-drama ‘Hitler’. The movie was directed by Santram, produced by MD. Nasim and co-produced by Reyaz Ahmad. During the beginning of her career, Monalisa worked in several low budget movies but later went on to make her Bollywood debut with the film ‘blackmail’ alongside Ajay Devgn and Suniel Shetty.
