Assam flood: Bhojpuri actress Sweety Chhabra prays for the people

The eastern state of Assam is reeling under a devastating flood with lakhs of people being affected and numerous people losing their lives so far this year.
According to the Assam State Disaster Management Authority, seven people lost their lives in 24 hours. The flooding has led to vast loss of life and property. Talking about the situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated the central government is closely monitoring the situation.
Early today, Bhojpuri actress Sweety Chhabra shared a few pictures from the Assam flood. Along with the photos, she wrote a heartfelt note, "Assam continues to reel under floods on Thursday with over 54.5 lakh people affected A total of 45,34,048 residents have been adversely affected by the deluge in the state....This is sad, I pray to god for all the people living in assam, please save the human and forgive him #assamfloods #prayforassam #helpthem".
