In an emotional social media post,
Riddhi Sen remembers February 22, when his film, Nagarkirtan, was release. Directed by
Kaushik Ganguly, Riddhi’s acting in the film got him National Award.
In the post, he wrote, “A Friday which came too late but went away in the blink of an eye . 22nd February,2020, here we meet another Friday , one whole year has passed , so many things have remained the same, but few things have changed for sure.
A lot of car windows now come down hearing a knock , more than a handful of people are comfortable looking at them in the eye. Madhu and Pnuti successfully erased one thing from many hearts , the concept of ‘us and them' . The tune of Madhu da’s flute still makes a lot of people cry , yes , even after one year , in a world full of ‘right here right now ‘ , Kaushik Ganguly’s Nagarkirtan holds a mirror infront of the society which still makes people go ‘still ‘ , it makes people a little more human (sic).”
