Poster of A-pabitra is eye-catching!

Film posters are mostly done in an innovative way to catch the attention of movie lovers. But theatre, which is often considered as poor man’s entertainment in Bengal, has so far remained sluggish in this area. But things are fast changing. The first group to make a move in this direction is Ashokenagar Natyaanan. The poster of their A-pabitra is eye-catching what with a man chained in barbed wire.The faces of a few actors too are visible on the poster. Directed by Chandan Sen, A-pabitra features actors like Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Shantilal Mukherjee, Ashit Basu, apart from Chandan himself. The play will premiere on September 9 at Academy of Fine Arts.
