Mir couldn't believe that his play was houseful!
Being a multifaceted powerhouse of talent comes easy to Mir. But, for the theatre circuit of Kolkata, it came as a pleasant surprise when Mir proclaimed his prowess as a theatre artiste par excellence at the Academy of Fine Arts on Friday.
Buddhijibi, a play directed by Saurav Palodhi, featuring himself and Mir, questioned societal norms in the most thought provoking manner.
While the most repeated question was, when is the next show, some people even got in touch, expressing a desire to take the production to the districts like Murshidabad and Bardhaman. "It was good to know that poeple could relate to the subject so well that they wanted it to reach out to a wider audience," Said Mir.
