Meghla Dasgupta to make her stage debut

Meghla Dasgupta, daughter of director Birsa Dasgupta and actress Bidipta Chakraborty, is all set to make her stage debut with the play Lojjateertho on September 9 at Tapan Theatre. Meghla has assisted her father and also acted in telefilms. She is veritably excited about Lojjateertho, where she plays Jolly, a girl with an incisive mind. Meghla, juggling between pursuing performance arts in Presidency University and attending stage rehearsals, said, "This play is definitely an actor's delight and it's an enriching experience working with a director like Sudipa Basu".The rest of the cast includes Sraman Chatterjee, Arijita Mukhopadhyay, Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee, Arjaa Banerjee and others.
