Little Thespian to host annual Hindi theatre festival

Theatre group Little Thespian is all set to host its annual theatre festival, Jashn-E-Rang. This will be one of the few Hindi national theatre festivals that takes place in the city. “This year we have invited plays directed by Devendra Raj Ankur (Sambhaw, Delhi), Bipin Kumar (NSD, Sikkim), Arun Pandey (Vivechna Rangmandal, Jabalpur), Swapan Mondal (Shudrka, Hyderabad), Shakir Tasnim (Mukhatib, Bhojpur) and Sayyed Iqbal (Act Group, Solapur).There will also be Little Thespian’s own production Rengti Parchhaiyan, directed by SM Azhar Alam. Apart from this, there will be poetry recitation and theatre songs,” informed Uma Jhunjhunwala, president of the group.
