First show of 1984 already sold out

The first show of Swapnasandhani’s 1984 is sold out! Confirming this, director Debesh Chattopadhyay told us, “The seats were sold out before we even started our publicity drive.” As for plans about subsequent shows, he said Minerva Theatre has no free dates in June. "So we have applied for cancelled dates, hoping that we'll get at least one in June. We want to stage the first few shows at Minerva till all the actors get a hang of the show,” he added.
