. This time, the production is for Paschimbanga Natya Academy’s annual festival.
Rwitobroto Mukherjee, one of the key actors in the group, told us, “We will be staging Harimadhav Mukhopadhyay’s
Ganesh Gatha
. It is a social satire in the guise of a comedy. Earlier, we staged Juganayak in the festival. This time, we are working on this play, only for the festival.” Directed by
Chandan Sen, the play will feature
Shantilal Mukherjee, Rwitobroto and Chandan. The play will premiere in Malda in February.
