It is a play with no dark shades, said the director. “Our life is full of stress. Disappointments, hopelessness and pessimism clutter us all the time. I was almost thinking of adapting plays either by Henrik Ibsen, Girish Karnad, Tagore or Vijay Tendulkar so that I could capture the dark time we are living in. Suddenly, I got a call from Goutam (Halder). He insisted on doing something that is all about fun and laughter, without an iota of darkness. His proposal compelled me to think and later I was convinced that laughter would be the best thing to present to our audience at this moment. I got Sharmila’s script. I found my childhood in this play,” Tirthankar confessed in a press note.

The play delves into a series of
