Art collective set to present maiden production

A city art collective, led by interdisciplinary artist Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee, is all set to showcase it's maiden production, Taar Onto Nei, on August 9 at ICCR. This presentation celebrates the ethos of death through the writings of Tagore to commemorate his 77th death anniversary.
The members of the collective shall showcase Tagore’s work through readings, music vocals, installations and live painting.The show shall see the likes of Sohag Sen, Chaitali Dasgupta, Joy Sarkar, Sohini Sarkar, Chitrangada Chakraborty and Rituparna Sengupta in attendance. "I am glad that members of different disciplines have come together to weave this together,” said Sujoy, the man behind the project.
