Abir may attend Lokokrishti's anniversary celebration
Abir Chatterjee is looking forward to celebrate the 30th anniversary of
Abir, who has closely followed the activities of the group, said, “Due to deep involvement of my father (Falguni Chatterjee) and mother (Rumki Chatterjee), Lokokrishti is like my sibling. We practically grew up together. The team members used to rehearse right next to my room, as a result I used to memorise all the dialogues. Anything I say on this celebration will fall short of what I feel. It is an extension of my being and I am very happy.” Earlier,
Falguni, who is also very busy preparing for the festival, said, “This will be a grand affair. We will stage three plays — Misfit, Chhoo-Mantar and Samajbandhu. Paran Bandopadhyay will present a talk on acting in comic roles. We are all gearing up for it.”
Talking about Abir’s involvement, he said, “Even when he was young, we used to rope him in when someone was absent. Abir has seen our work very closely. Though he has become very busy now, he still manages time for us.”
