Tollywood composer
Arindom Chatterjee turned a year older on Saturday. Arindom, who usually keeps low-key, spent the day at home. “I didn’t keep any work, but was listening to music on my earphones half the day. After that, I went to Kalighat with my mother to offer prayers to Maa Kali. My mother is a spiritual person and she had her own plans for the day; I just joined in,” said Arindom.
Though it was all about family time for him, Arindom went out for dinner with his friends in the evening. “I love to eat biryani and went to a restaurant with friends and my mother to savour the delicacy. I thoroughly enjoyed the biryani that was served,” said Arindom, who is a good cook himself and can rustle up a variety of meat dishes.
On the workfront, Arindom is likely to compose a theme song for a football club and will be doing the music for Yash’s next big-screen venture. About taking a two-and-a-half-month break from work, he told us, “Yes, I was in Toronto to be with my brother for long, but I never took a break from work. I composed a single while abroad and have now recorded it. I may take a break from the city, but there’s no staying away from music.” As per Tollywood sources,
Yash is likely to be paired opposite Madhumita, a popular face from television in the film, but Arindom said, “Nothing has been finalised as yet. One will have to wait it out a bit.”
