What’s Anurag Saikia’s mantra of creating magic through music?
Assam’s one of the most talented composers in recent times, Anurag Saikia had an awesome run at film music in 2018 with ‘Karwaan’, ‘Mulk’ and ‘Highjack’. He has also won many a million hearts with his recent release ‘
So, what’s his mantra of delivering such melodious musical magic? Anurag believes melodious music stays forever in the mind of listeners that’s the reason why he came up with such melodious compositions. Composed by Anurag Saikia, ‘Tum Aaoge’ is written by Kunaal Vermaa and sung by Soham Naik and Ritrisha Sarmah.
Anurag also stole the headlines recently with another musical treat for an unplugged ‘Sonu Nigam Episode’. The experimental composer superbly incorporated Northeastern folk with ghazals. The episode has five Ghazals and one Original Song.
Anurag also reveals his experience of composing for music maestro Sonu Nigam. “I am really blessed to have the best team of musicians. We didn’t have the chance to rehearse with Sonu Sir till the date of the final shoot. However, the final output is awesome. I received a lot of good response. Our entire generation has grown up listening to his popular hits and I am blessed to born in his era. To work with him is a dream come true experience. The way he inspires everyone and mentions artists like me in all his recent interviews is unbelievable.”
