Kaushik Ganguly was present there and delivered some precious words on the journey of Rabindrasangeet through the ages. He said, “From the time Visva Bharati abolished its copyright from Rabindrasangeet, a name Srabani Sen immensely dedicated herself in the practice of Rabindrasangeet.” Raktim Morichika, the presentation of the evening, was a dream project of Srabani Sen organised by the director of Pragya, Gopa Roy where a certain amount from this project has been offered for the health and financial benefits of the elderly people.
The singer mesmerised the entire auditorium by her soul-soothing voice accompanied by tuneful piano and outstanding recitation. She also mentioned that, this project is a tribute to Rabindranath and an endeavor to recall the love of mankind through the songs of Rabindranath. She sung the songs like Momo Dukher sadon, Ami Rupe Tomay Bholabo na, Bhalobeshe Sokhi Nrivito Jotone, Tobu Mone rekho and spread the pulse of love and affection among the audience.
