Singer-composer Shovon celebrates his birthday with girlfriend Swastika

Singer Shovon Ganguly turns a year younger today. The actor is celebrating the special day with his girlfriend, Swastika Dutta. “Last night, we attended a party and later celebrated at my place. She ordered my favourite butterscotch cake and I cut it at midnight. For lunch, ma made pulao and mutton curry. Payesh is a must-have on birthdays — it's a family tradition. Swastika and I will watch a film in the evening and post that, we will enjoy a candlelight dinner,” shared Shovon. He added, “I feel blessed that so many people are calling and texting me to wish me. I hope to be able to entertain my audience with soulful music.”Swastika on her part, added, “I self-invited myself to have lunch with Shovon today as his mother makes amazing mutton curry! I took a lot of trouble in organising Shovon’s birthday cake. This year, I didn’t gift him clothes. Instead, I gifted him a chair that'll come in handy when he does riyaz. At night, I will treat him to his favourite continental food. Shovon wanted to celebrate his birthday outside of Kolkata but I couldn’t organise a trip because I have to shoot for an ad commercial tomorrow. We are planning for a holiday in the Maldives or Dubai soon.”
